Opal Brown

This iris was given to me as a gift in May. The short side of a long story: it was completely dried out, not a hint of green anywhere. I didn't hold much hope for it but I stuck it in the ground anyway. It bloomed for me the very next April. Aren't these wonderfully resilient flowers?!
