This iris was sold to me by Van Dyke's as Champagne Elegance. It grows well but took three years to produce a bloom. When it finally bloomed, I discovered it definitely is not Champagne Elegance. I think I have identified it as Pompeii Lady (Blyth 1993) but I've been calling it Purple Champagne. Very pretty don't you think? It does have a tendency to fade.
